Hello there ! Back with Cursed city. Starting with this jolly band of vampire. I absolutely love these three models but yet again, the undead part of this box set is Phenomenal.
And this is the last group that was in the work before moving on to the "mood" part of the paint job.
So here we go. Lights on !
And to contrast with the very first picture of this blog post, back to the vampires
So, here are some close ups of the skeletons.
And the drowners or zombies
And what's left.
Which leaves us with the heros to do.
A few close ups :
As well as the last undead.
As you ight have noticed, this last part is not completed yet, i still have a few things left to do.
I'm keeping that in store for a bit later next week.
I currently preping the next commission so when it hits the priming booth I'll take that time to finish the cursed city.
Speaking of next order...
Back with the tiny titans !
These have been ( and are ) a weird one haha
Test models, waiting for the rest of the army to arrive once the tests are approved, then adding some more to the originally planned order, so waiting for those to arrive as well.
But at last, everything is here and I only have "a few" magnets to place before this all hits the priming room.
So... commission wise.... That it for the week.
But...
Once again.
The 3D printing realms calls upon me.
And.... The warhound is done !
After two failed print, the carapace printed, praised be the machin gods !
Still, one mistake was made.
I realized, a bit too late while looking for missing parts on a forum that this should be printed at 110% of its size to match the real deal's scale.
Oh well, it's a tiny dog... Plus... 110% would not fit my printer small size haha.
So it's all good.
And here is one big happy family !
One warhound, Three variants of Cerastus and 4 Armingers.
For now I'll leave that project here as I have another one that took priority ( more on that below )
But in the near futur, I want to add to that at least two more armingers and possibly two standard knights.
In the LAAATTTTEEEEE futur, when I get my hand on a FDM printer. I want to add a Reaver, another warhound ( you know... the classic Reaver and two Warhounds thing ) and.... i got files for a Nemesis and a warlord.... So who knows !!
Printing opened up a all new level to the projects I dreamed of but could never afford haha.
But hey !
Priority printing project I mentioned.
The only person I know playing 40K told me he prefers AoS now after trying it out.
So... I need an army for that.
My plan was Nighthaunts as they seems fairly quick to paint, but I couldn't find appropriate files.
Instead what I found was Demons... Khorn Demons Fantastic files for an entire army.
Soooo..... That army is currently being created for liquid to solid haha
And that brings us to the end of this week's work load. There will still be printing today of course, but you'll know about that in the next post, next Sunday. In the mean time... Enjoy the week-end and have a good one folks !
